Cat No; Reference: 0039/42900 The PANSETTER is suitable for all Network Rail Sleepers fitted with PR, e & e-PLUS. Used for lifting the sleeper to the rail foot. It pushes the rail over, leaving the correct gap between the rail foot and the Pandrol housing, so that the insulator can be easily placed in the correct position. All Pandrol hand-tools can be supplied with optional insulated handles, which have recently been upgraded to 35mm diameter cylindrical handles with ‘T’ cross bars for improved ergonomic and safer use.

Colour: Red working head (matches the appropriate e-PLUS clip type), and yellow handle. For use with eP20127 clips for retrofitting to sleeper types: F27, EF28, 5EF28, and for the new S&C designs to NR56V. All STEL hand-tools can be supplied with optional insulated handles, which have recently been upgraded to 32mm diameter cylindrical straight handles Installation Instructions • Insert center leg of clip into housing. • Place pivoted hook over the inside of the front arch of clip with foot of PANPULLER behind clip housing and ensure lip of the hook is under the front arch. • Taking up a natural stance with feet apart, move one leg half a pace back to prevent loss of balance. Stand behind the PANPULLER, with both hands on tee handle at top of PANPULLER, pull strongly towards chest until refusal. • The PANPULLER automatically pulls clip to the correct position When correctly installed the centre leg of ALL types of e-PLUS clips, protrude beyond the shoulder to hold the side-insulator in the correct position. This tool is 'handed' to hold the insulator in position during clip insertion. This means that the tool cannot be used for extraction of the clip. To extract this e-Plus clip use a standard PANPULLER Type LP1180

Suitable for use on FASTCLIP FC, FASTCLIP FE, VIPA-SP and SFC fastenings. The new tools, which react from the rail, are more efficient, faster and safer because they are not prone to slipping from the shoulder reaction points. Additionally, the tools offer compatibility with a wide range of Pandrol systems, including FASTCLIP ‘FC’ & FASTCLIP ‘FE’ and the Pandrol VIPA-SP & SFC baseplates. Finally, because the reaction point for the installation tool has been moved to the head of the rail, the installer is able to lift sleepers (about 20mm) as part of the normal action of the tool, lifting from the rear arches of the clip before driving the clip into the installed position. NOTE: This tool has options avaialble under separate reference numbers; for variants with either insulated handles and / or cranked heads for confined spaces. The standard tool is always supplied with a straight head and steel handle. Optional variant of this tool using cranked head for confined spaces and insulated handle To insert the clips from the ‘Parked’ position of the shoulder as delivered from the sleeper factory, follow these instructions. The paddle should be in the normal front pivot hole and the side cheeks in the down position. (Different from the photograph) for ALL rail sizes. Locate the hooks on the side arms over the head of the rail. To insert the clips, grasp both handles of the ‘Tee’ bar, and stand ‘naturally’ with feet apart then move one leg half a pace back, to prevent loss of balance during clip driving. Pull on the handle until refusal. The fully driven position for FASTCLIP ‘FC’ is achieved when the outer legs of the clip touch the rear of the side insulator in the shoulder, or with up to 3 mm of clearance. The FASTCLIP ‘FE’ installed position does NOT touch the shoulder or insulator. Once located the tool can be slid along the rail between sleepers for the next clip insertion. If the clip needs to be re-inserted from fully extracted, move the cheeks to the up position, to extend the reach of the tool. If more reach is required, the paddle can be moved to the rear pivot hole. Follow the instructions above.
