Light Weight "YELLOW" - Standard Strength PADS
The utilisation of new magnet material technology has enabled the dramatic reduction to the overall weight of the actual magnet unit, therefore developing a much more simplified track fixing procedure.
Single line attachment has been the key to significantly reducing the installation time, now approximately 30 seconds from stepping into the 4ft.
As stipulated by Network Rail each unit can be padlocked to deter vandals.

Rear arch extractor for FASTCLIP ‘FC PANDROL No. LP15177
The rear arch extractor remains available to extract clips around IBJ’s.
This tool is ONLY needed at IBJ’s in order to extract clips which are shielded by the scalloped section of the joint. It is also unique to FASTCLIP ‘FC’ and does NOT work with ‘FE’ clips.
Instructions for Rear Arch Extractor
The hooks in the frame of the tool locate into the reaction points on the shoulder, as shown in the photograph. The clip is extracted using the tines inserted in the rear arches of the clip.
Once located grasp both handles of the ‘Tee’ bar, and stand ‘naturally’ with feet apart then move one leg half a pace back, to prevent loss of balance during clip extraction. Push the handle away to extract the clip, stopping at the ‘Parked’ position, or continuing to push away to fully extract the clip from the shoulder.

Suitable for use on FASTCLIP FC and FASTCLIP FE
The original version of the sleeper lifter can still be used in conjunction the new installer where sleepers need to be lifted more than 20mm.
Instructions for Sleeper Lifter LP12608
The scissor action of the frame opens in order to locate the pincers of the tool into the sides of the shoulder with the clip in the ‘Parked’ position. Place the hook of the tool over the head of the rail, and as the body of the tool rises the scissor action closes the pincers and lock into the shoulder.
Once located grasp both handles of the ‘Tee’ bar, and stand ‘naturally’ with feet apart then move one leg half a pace back, to prevent loss of balance during sleeper lifting. Push the handle away to lift any ‘dropped’ sleeper if ballast conditions do not support the sleepers engaging with the foot of the rail.
These tools should be used in pairs to lift the sleeper to locate both rails simultaneously with the rail seats of the sleeper.
The sleeper lifter can used on the same rail seat as the FASTCLIP installer, by locating between the hooks of the installation tool.

The VSR is designed to attach to the rail fastening, and by means of a rotating lift arm and bearing, contact the underside of the rail head and lift the rail from the sleeper (tie).
Once lifted, the rail can be moved with very low friction for the purposes of rail stressing, the resultant excellent stress distribution is therefore optimised.
The VSR can also be used for changing rail pads and the e-clip product has been designed with extra lift for that specific purpose.
