Light weight, robust malleable cast iron model, free chaining, slip clutch, stamped steel - or aluminium housing, low operating effort - in the Yale product range you will always find an optimal hoist for every type of operation.
The brake system of all Yale hand lever hoists are based on the original Yale patent of the British Engineer Thomas A Weston dating back to 1875. All parts of the load brake are made of high quality materials and are protected against corrosion.
The graphite cast iron load sheave for the link chain has precision machined chain pockets for accurate fit and durability of the load chain. The roller chain sprocket is made from heat treated chromium-molybdenum steel with precision machine teeth to ensure smooth chain movement.
Every Yale ratchet lever hoist is factory tested with overload. The units are supplied with a test certificate showing the serial-No. Operating instructions which contain an EC declaration of conformity are also attached to each unit.

Finally, because the reaction point for the installation tool has been moved to the head of the rail, the installer is able to lift sleepers (about 20mm) as part of the normal action of the tool, lifting from the rear arches of the clip before driving the clip into the installed position. The standard tool is always supplied with a straight head and steel handle. Optional variant of this tool using cranked head for confined spaces and insulated handle To insert the clips from the ‘Parked’ position of the shoulder as delivered from the sleeper factory, follow these instructions. The paddle should be in the normal front pivot hole and the side cheeks in the down position. (Different from the photograph) for ALL rail sizes. Locate the hooks on the side arms over the head of the rail. To insert the clips, grasp both handles of the ‘Tee’ bar, and stand ‘naturally’ with feet apart then move one leg half a pace back, to prevent loss of balance during clip driving. Pull on the handle until refusal. The fully driven position for FASTCLIP ‘FC’ is achieved when the outer legs of the clip touch the rear of the side insulator in the shoulder, or with up to 3 mm of clearance. The FASTCLIP ‘FE’ installed position does NOT touch the shoulder or insulator. Once located the tool can be slid along the rail between sleepers for the next clip insertion. If the clip needs to be re-inserted from fully extracted, move the cheeks to the up position, to extend the reach of the tool. If more reach is required, the paddle can be moved to the rear pivot hole. Follow the instructions above.

If the clips will not move then use the Rusty Clip Extractor can be used for PR clips. NOTE. It is mandatory to wear eye protection when removing or fitting any clips where hammer assistance might be necessary.
