Suitable for use on FASTCLIP FC, FASTCLIP FE, VIPA-SP and SFC fastenings.
The new tools, which react from the rail, are more efficient, faster and safer because they are not prone to slipping from the shoulder reaction points.
Additionally, the tools offer compatibility with a wide range of Pandrol systems, including FASTCLIP ‘FC’ & FASTCLIP ‘FE’ and the Pandrol VIPA-SP & SFC baseplates.
Finally, because the reaction point for the installation tool has been moved to the head of the rail, the installer is able to lift sleepers (about 20mm) as part of the normal action of the tool, lifting from the rear arches of the clip before driving the clip into the installed position.
NOTE:
This tool has options avaialble under separate reference numbers; for variants with either insulated handles and / or cranked heads for confined spaces. The standard tool is always supplied with a straight head and steel handle.

To insert the clips from the ‘Parked’ position of the shoulder as delivered from the sleeper factory, follow these instructions.
The paddle should be in the normal front pivot hole and the side cheeks in the down position. (Different from the photograph) for ALL rail sizes. Locate the hooks on the side arms over the head of the rail.
