PANDROL TYPE INSTALLER FASTCLIP FC-FE & VIPA OVER THE RAIL TOOL
£372.50Suitable for use on FASTCLIP FC, FASTCLIP FE, VIPA-SP and SFC fastenings. The new tools, which react from the rail, are more efficient, faster and safer because they are not prone to slipping from the shoulder reaction points. Additionally, the tools offer compatibility with a wide range of Pandrol systems, including FASTCLIP ‘FC’ & FASTCLIP ‘FE’ and the Pandrol VIPA-SP & SFC baseplates. Finally, because the reaction point for the installation tool has been moved to the head of the rail, the installer is able to lift sleepers (about 20mm) as part of the normal action of the tool, lifting from the rear arches of the clip before driving the clip into the installed position. NOTE: This tool has options avaialble under separate reference numbers; for variants with either insulated handles and / or cranked heads for confined spaces. The standard tool is always supplied with a straight head and steel handle. Optional variant of this tool using cranked head for confined spaces and insulated handle To insert the clips from the ‘Parked’ position of the shoulder as delivered from the sleeper factory, follow these instructions. The paddle should be in the normal front pivot hole and the side cheeks in the down position. (Different from the photograph) for ALL rail sizes. Locate the hooks on the side arms over the head of the rail. To insert the clips, grasp both handles of the ‘Tee’ bar, and stand ‘naturally’ with feet apart then move one leg half a pace back, to prevent loss of balance during clip driving. Pull on the handle until refusal. The fully driven position for FASTCLIP ‘FC’ is achieved when the outer legs of the clip touch the rear of the side insulator in the shoulder, or with up to 3 mm of clearance. The FASTCLIP ‘FE’ installed position does NOT touch the shoulder or insulator. Once located the tool can be slid along the rail between sleepers for the next clip insertion. If the clip needs to be re-inserted from fully extracted, move the cheeks to the up position, to extend the reach of the tool. If more reach is required, the paddle can be moved to the rear pivot hole. Follow the instructions above. -

PANDROL TYPE EXTRACTOR FASTCLIP FE / FC & VIPA-SP, SFC ALL CREAM COLOUR 0039/047851
£187.50Product Code: 0039/047851 Previously LP18679 Suitable for extracting FASTCLIP FC, FASTCLIP FE, VIPA-SP and SFC fastenings. The new tools, which react from the rail, are more efficient, faster and safer because they are not prone to slipping from the shoulder reaction points. Additionally, the tools offer compatibility with a wide range of Pandrol systems, including FASTCLIP ‘FC’ & FASTCLIP ‘FE’ and the Pandrol baseplate types VIPA-SP & SFC baseplate. Instructions for Extractor AE17385 The Extractor tool acts as a lever against the web of the rail and the toe of the clip. To locate the tool hold at angle away from the rail and move forwards to position the tool between the rail and the shoulder, with the rear clip catching frame towards the operators foot. Once located grasp both handles of the ‘Tee’ bar, and stand ‘naturally’ with feet apart then move one leg half a pace back, to prevent loss of balance during clip extraction. Push the handles away until the rear of the clip touches the catching frame, to ensure the clip remains in the shoulder, to locate in the ‘Parked’ position. Care should be taken to maintain the operator’s balance during clip extraction as the handle is pushed away. To remove the clip completely from the shoulder, keep pushing the handle so the frame hinges upwards and the clip is removed from the shoulder. -
Vortok Fastclip Stressing Roller
£136.91The Vortok Fastclip Stressing Roller is designed to attach to the rail fastening, and by means of a rotating lift arm and bearing, contact the underside of the rail head and lift the rail from the sleeper (tie).
Once lifted, the rail can be moved with very low friction for the purposes of rail stressing, the resultant excellent stress distribution is therefore optimised.
The VSR can also be used for changing rail pads and the e-clip product has been designed with extra lift for that specific purpose.- Out of stock

Once located grasp both handles of the ‘Tee’ bar, and stand ‘naturally’ with feet apart then move one leg half a pace back, to prevent loss of balance during sleeper lifting. Push the handle away to lift any ‘dropped’ sleeper if ballast conditions do not support the sleepers engaging with the foot of the rail. These tools should be used in pairs to lift the sleeper to locate both rails simultaneously with the rail seats of the sleeper. The sleeper lifter can used on the same rail seat as the FASTCLIP installer, by locating between the hooks of the installation tool. -
